The University of Education in Winneba (UEW), southern Ghana, has an amazing job opportunity. The College for Distance and e-Learning is looking for qualified and skilled candidates to fill the position of principal.

The Role of Principal

Both academics and the overall college administration are under the principal’s control. He or she is also in charge of overseeing the college’s management, operations, and governance.

This complies with the regulations and guidelines outlined in the university’s Act and Statutes.

The Person Must possess the Following;

• A world-renowned researcher with Professorial Status 
• Someone who has a Ph.D. in education, applied sciences, social sciences, or the humanities
  
  
•  a well-known scholar who can inspire and lead his or her team
• A person with a strong work ethic, good leadership skills, good organizational skills, and a good sense of business.
  
  
• An important, honest person with good communication and people skills and the ability to handle and control a crisis
  
  
• Visionary, business-minded, and able to build relationships between the university and business. Sober, mature, and driven to make fair and sound decisions
  
  
• Be able to get awards and money for the college’s research and development projects
  
  
• Be able to carry out the college’s policy choices 

In Addition

t is a full-time position. The candidate who is hired should be able to continue working for at least four years, from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2027, before they must begin their retirement at age 60. Starting on October 1, 2023, whoever is hired will take over the position.
