What is love?

There are many different ways to answer this, and there is no one right answer. For me, though, I think love is a feeling of deep affection, care, and connection for another person.

It’s something that makes you feel happy, safe, and secure. It can be romantic love, platonic love, or even love for a family member or pet. Love can take many different forms, but I think it always involves a sense of caring and connection.

Here our main focus is romantic love, romantic love is a specific type of love that is focused on a romantic or intimate relationship between two people (a man and a woman). It’s different from other types of love because it usually involves a strong emotional and physical connection.

It’s also different because it’s usually focused on just one other person, rather than being spread out between many different people, like familial love.

There are a few things that make romantic love special. First, it’s a unique type of relationship that’s different from any other relationship in your life. Second, it can be incredibly emotionally fulfilling and can provide a sense of security and belonging.

Third, it can be incredibly physically and sexually fulfilling. Fourth, it can be a source of deep emotional connection and communication. Finally, it can be a source of shared joy and fun. When you are with the right partner you feel fulfilled and happy.

However, one of the mistakes we make is that we confuse kindness and care with love. We often assume that whoever has shown us kindness or care is in love, which may never be the case. This reminded me of the story of a lady and a man in my office. I will tag the lady Dammy and the man Sola.

The nature of my job allows me to bring people into the business, which led Sola to bring Dammy. Since then, they have been good partners in business, doing things together, going out, and working closely in the office. Wherever you see Sola, Dammy is there too. They go out to eat, Sola buys things for Dammy, and they are very close, doing almost everything together. If you are looking for Sola, you can easily ask Dammy, and vice versa.

Over time, their relationship grew in the office to the point where they became the center of discussion almost every day. The way Dammy always follows Sola raised suspicions about whether there is a romantic relationship between them. Speculations upon speculations started circulating that their relationship is beyond business. During a casual conversation, Sola mentioned that he prefers to marry a light-skinned woman, while Dammy is dark-skinned, creating a contrast. Additionally, Dammy is older than Sola, although age is just a number.

After some months, everything was going well until one fateful day. Everyone realized that Dammy wasn’t just a loyal subordinate but had been harboring deep affection for Sola. She counted everything Sola did for her as signs that he felt the same way. She considered it love. On this day, after the morning motivation, Dammy surprised everyone by bringing out a ring, kneeling in front of Sola to propose marriage. With a smiling face, she said, “Sola, will you marry me?”
