Every year on May 25, Africans get the chance to reflect on and recognize their unique culture and legacy as Africans. A reminder of the history, culture, and accomplishments of the continent, it is a day that brings people from many backgrounds together.
Africa’s diversity, which includes a wide range of languages, traditions, and customs, is one of its most attractive features. Its inhabitants all share an African identity, despite this variety. We are amide cause we all have a common African identity that cuts across country boundaries.

The achievements made by our forebears and earlier generations are honored and recognized on Africa Day. We discover a sense of community and cohesion as Africans through our shared cultural heritage and historical experiences.
